On Saturday June 6, 2009 Chicali Rock Festival was celebrated in Mexicali, Baja California at Parque Vicente Guerrero. There were several local bands from Mexicali demonstrating their talents; some bands have large trajectories.

Zinorbita is a band that does tribute to a rock band from Spain, Heroes del Silencio. Zinorbita was the first band perform that night.

Retros is a band that play covers of famous Latin rock bands, their did a good performance I really enjoy it.

Klandestino have three record demos, during the festival they were playing their own music.

Jonas is going to lance their first album by the end of June. Good luck!

Super Mariachi is a band with the longest trajectory; they were playing covers of the most famous rock bands over 40 years.

There were two other bands that I didn’t have the opportunity to take pictures, there were Bacteria before called Penumbra, and Solsticio their both originally from Mexicali also with the other bands that were performing that night.

I enjoy taking those pictures and listening to music that I really like. Excellent job to all the bands and good luck with future performances!
